Saxton's journey began in the small rural town of Dannevirke, where he developed a strong work ethic from a young age. Starting at just 7 years old, he worked alongside his father on the farm during school holidays, engaging in tasks such as docking, chopping wood, hay bailing, and fencing. This early experience instilled in him a dedication to hard work that has carried through every aspect of his life.

In school, Saxton rose through the rankings, being named captain of his Manawatu team. He was then proudly given the opportunity to represent at the highest level, being selected for the New Zealand rugby league team. Despite the demands of sports, Saxton balanced his schoolwork and a job at McDonald's, showcasing his self-management and teamwork skills.

After graduating, he immediately entered the workforce, starting as a labourer at the local meat processing plant. His determination and leadership abilities quickly propelled him to the position of leading hand, overseeing a crew of 36.

Saxton then transitioned into the trades, becoming a painter and decorator. His eagerness to learn and grow saw him rise to the role of team foreman and eventually project manager for his company. But Saxton's journey didn't stop there. He ventured out as an independent contractor before finding his true calling in real estate....
